BACKPACK BIOLOGY

posted by Carol at  5:51 || under General

Clark Gardens is excited to announce our first Backpack Biology.  JoAnn Collins, an avid outdoor educator, has written TEKS based lesson plans on Tree Systems for students K-5th Grade.  The lesson plans include pre and post visit activities and of course a trip to the Gardens to discover our amazing Historical Tree Trail.  Included in the lesson plans are activities that integrate social studies, math, and language arts.

Field trips are offered to students at no charge including Backpack Biology.

Our first teacher workshop will be offered on March 25 at 8:30 am.  The workshop includes a tour of the Gardens, introduction to the lesson plans included in the  Backpack ...
