LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE OUTDOORS-FOURTH OF JULY

posted by Carol at  10:54 || under General

Clark Gardens will be open this weekend with business as usual.  The trains will be operating both Saturday and Sunday.  Bring your family and have a picnic.  The yard staff have been working all week to get everything watered and ready for your enjoyment.

On the evening of July 4th there is a fireworks display in Mineral Wells (follow link for details) at the High School stadium.  Also Lake Mineral Wells State Park offers Cowboy, Campfire, Music and Poetry led by Park Interpreter David Owens.  David performed at the Gardens Holiday Festival and he was terrific.  (hmmm....I'm wondering if you could get a view of the fireworks from there...just a thought).

LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE OUTDOORS--YOGA AT DOUBLE J

posted by Carol at  8:51 || under Events

Jane Baldwin, co owner of Double J Art Ranch with husband Jimmy Baldwin, is offering a special yoga class next Tuesday night at the Double J.  Many of you will know Jimmy from his performances at the June Festival.  Amazing!!!

Jane and I have talked about offering yoga in the gardens.  This will be my first yoga class (ever) so I am excited and a bit anxious not knowing what to expect.  But I do know Jane so I know it will be great.  Join me Tuesday night and let's make a Clark Garden showing out at Double J.

Follow this link to Double J's website and scroll down on the right for the link to sign up.

The performers...Jimmy ...
